Our latest paper was accepted today in ACS Pharmacology & Translational Science, reporting a small molecule that stabilizes both wild-type and R273H mutant p53. The compound selectively reacts with Cys141 via nucleophilic aromatic substitution, highlighting a novel covalent activator for targeting p53.
