Four members of our research group shine at the XXIX Encontro Luso‐Galego de Química

We are delighted to announce that four of our team members participated actively in the XXIX Encontro Luso‑Galego de Química, held in Braga, Portugal from 10–12 November 2025.

Ricardo Ferreira delivered an oral presentation about the state of the art and results of the new granted project title PROTAC4OncoP53.

Tiago Delgado presented his master results about novel DprE1 inhibitors in the oral session.

Bárbara Bahls contributed with another oral presentation on her results of theoretical chemistry to optimize suzuki coupling in pyrrolo[4,3,2-de]quinolinones.

Tomás Ginestal presented a poster with the results on activators of mutant p53 and discussed it with peers during the poster session.

We’d like to congratulate all presenters for their hard work and the dynamic discussions they engaged in. A special thanks to the organising committees of the meeting for creating a stimulating environment for knowledge exchange.

We look forward to continuing the collaborations, ideas and connections sparked by this vibrant event, and bringing back fresh insights to our laboratory / group.
